​The patrol services offered by the Hood River County Sheriff's Office extends to areas such as trail systems, not accessible by standard vehicles.

These locations are served by HRCSO through the use of grant-funded equipment  including vehicles, trailers, quads, and motorcycles.

About Off Highway Vehicles

Organized OHV riding and designated trail systems have increased in recent years.  As a result, the Hood River County Sheriff's Office has received grant funding to enforce OHV laws and regulations as well as provide education to the public that enjoys the use of Hood River County's growing OHV designated trails.

The Sheriff's Office has a variety of grant funded equipment to assist with enforcement activies including vehicles, trailers,quads, and motorcycles.
