It is the goal of the Sheriff’s Office to provide investigative services to all residents and visitors, in order to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Hood River County.
The Hood River County Sheriff’s Office has two detectives assigned to general criminal cases and one to the Mid-Columbia Interagency Narcotics Team (MINT). These three detectives are responsible for investigating all major crimes in Hood River County.

These cases include a wide range of crimes such as assaults, computer crimes, elder abuse, homicides, sex crimes, and property crimes.
